AZ Kidz Healthy Smiles Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is dedicated to improving the oral health of children and teens across Maricopa County. Our team comprises of local affiliated practice dental hygienists, dental assistants, and bilingual site assistants. We share a common goal: to provide preventive dental services to children who may otherwise lack access to such care.

How Can We Help?
AZ Kidz Healthy Smiles Foundation brings portable dental equipment directly to children in need. We serve local schools, early education centers, residential group foster homes, and shelters. Our goal is to provide preventive dental services in familiar, safe environments, ensuring children feel comfortable while receiving essential dental care.

How It Works
- Consent Forms:
Consent forms will be delivered to your location for distribution to all children. Our staff will return in approximately 2 weeks to collect the completed forms. - Schedule A Date:
After collecting consent forms, we will coordinate with your administration to schedule service dates. The duration will depend on the number of participating children. - On-Site Dental Care:
We will accommodate your location's schedule when providing services. Our assistant will help bring children to and from our dental program. We ensure each child is treated with care and patience to ensure their comfort during the dental visit. - Oral Health Reports:
Each child will receive a comprehensive oral health report detailing services provided and any areas of concern. Referrals will be included if necessary. - Urgent Care Notifications:
Your staff will be promptly notified of any urgent dental issues. We will contact the parent or guardian directly and assist in scheduling follow-up dental appointments as needed. - Follow-Up Visits:
A follow-up visit for dental screening and fluoride application will be scheduled 6 months after the initial visit.
